ashlee simpson eats 'barbecue' -- conclusion: eating for TWO

so, while i've been delaying post-college life by (beach)-bumming it in south carolina, i've learned at least one new thing (the brain still lives). WHAT IS BARBECUE? Well, thank god for amazingribs.com for really and truly clarifying this huge dilemma i've been faced with in the south. Scroll down and you will find over TWELVE definitions, including noun, adjective and verb forms of the word (who knew?!?)

Example of definition 1 (a cookout): "At the Fourth of July barbecue we'll be cooking ribs, steaks, hamburgers, hot dogs, and marshmallows. Anything we can fit on the grill."

Example of definition 2 (pulled pork, usually from a whole hog or pork shoulder (a.k.a. pork butt), usually served on a hamburger bun, often topped with cole slaw): "Let's go git some barbecue at the pig pickin'."

so, why, might you ask, is this a juicy morsel? well, well my friends, check this out:

the latest news from people reveals that, well, if ashlee's eating barbecue and she's recently engaged, then she MUST be eating for two. too bad we couldn't see her actually eating the colesaw and pulled pork.

but, speaking of seeing household names eating, check out this pretty hilarious website: celebrities eating dot com
